Ventriloquist?

I thought I knew what a ventriloquist was, but if it was anything like the guy mommy and daddy took me to see last night, I must not know. I thought the guy isn't supposed to move his lips at all when he's pretending to be the dummy, but this guy . . . . nope. Mommy keeps getting these crazy ideas in her head. Daddy just loved that she took us to a local library for Family Home Evening to see this so-called ventriloquist/magic show. So, it started out pretty good and kept my attention for a while, but then I'd had just about enough. I didn't get most of the jokes, and couldn't see very well. If I'd been able to do those two things, I might have lasted a little bit longer. Instead I wanted to go out in the library itself and play with the germ infested toys. So, that's what I did. At least I got to go get ice cream afterwards. So it ended up being a pretty great time with mommy and daddy.
