So, Gammy has been trying to tell mommy now for a while that I needed new shoes. Well, mommy and daddy finally took me to get some. We looked all over for some that they liked on Saturday and finally found a pair that were hip, but of course, they didn't have my size. So I had to wait until Monday. Mommy took me to another store that was holding my size on Monday morning and I was totally stoked. I let her put them on me, then I RAN off as fast as I could around the department store so she couldn't take them off again. She caught me though and all the ladies had to feel my toes in my shoes, but it was worth being able to go home in them. Mommy said there was a sale where you buy one and get one half off, so daddy suggested that we "food storage" a pair like daddy does. So mommy bought a second pair in a bigger size to have for when I grow out of this pair. I was so excited about it, I HAD to carry both pairs myself. It was a pretty heavy load, but I didn't mind.
We finally got home and I couldn't wait to get home to show daddy. I ran into his office and stomped around getting his attention, and pointed to them and told him all about them. I even showed him how the ladies pushed on my toes and everything. Daddy loved them. He said I looked like a total stud! Mission accomplished and everyone happy!
